Hello beautiful people,

   Today, I decided to share my view on 'confidence'. Definitely we all know what Confidence is about, most of us are very bold and confident of ourselves while some of us are not exactly. Okay so a brief definition, Confidence is being bold, in control and having trust in one self. Confidence is also a faith or belief that one will act in a right, proper or effective way.
Having confidence in oneself would also require having confidence in God. In Deut. 31: 6 ( ''Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you He will not fail you or forsake you.'') .
Heb 13: 6 ( ''So we can confidently say, The Lord is my helper, I will not fear; what can man do to me? '' ).

This confidence can be misplaced and many times people influenced by sin will have confidence in themselves that surfaces in pride and arrogance. I am not saying having confidence in yourself is bad, self confidence is the most attractive quality a person can have but also be confident in God.

Having confidence in both God and self is what leads to success.  There's a quote that says ''Confidence is the companion of Success''.

Whatever we find ourselves doing in life as long as we are confident both in God and in ourselves we would definitely succeed. There is no two way about that.

I remember when I attended one conference in school, the speaker shared with us about being bold and self confident so she told us a story about when she went for an interview. Normally when people go for interviews, they learn the basics about the company and must answer few questions properly giving solid reasons why they want to work, present their C. V and so on. So this lady told us that when it was her turn, she walked into the room very confident of herself and in God, so they looked straight at her C.V, she wrote there that she write and sings so they asked her to sing, that is something they hardly ask people to do but because she was bold and definitely prepared right there she sang a song relating to the company and till date that is the company's song. Yes, they bought the song and she got paid a huge sum and was given the job and since then her opinion counts at her work place and she keeps working hard and making positive contributions to the growth of the company, now that's success.

Confidence also comes with hard work and preparation. One must be prepared at all times you never know when you would be called out , do not miss that opportunity.

This is one aspect I work on everyday too, I am not the person that likes to be called in front of a crowd to speak or talk to people even in small groups but my dad would always tell me,"BE CONFIDENT OF YOURSELF'' and each day I remind myself and keep working on it.
